Stancia Cicada is a restored stone farm estate built in the 1920's, located in a small hamlet called Čubani in the heart of Istria, Croatia. The estate offers a peaceful rural ambience in the vicinity of old mediterranean towns and the beautiful coast of Adriatic sea. It is open to guests year round as a vacation home or a retreat for creative work.
The hamlet is about 6 km south of Zminj, in hilly countryside, 30km away from Pula with airport and Roman ruins and Briuni Islands, 25km away from Rovinj, one of the most popular picturesque towns on the coast. Villa Stancia Cicada has accommodations in 4 bedroom and bath units; each with its own unique character.

support and assitance by telephone.
The outdoors provides two terraces, gardens, and ample space for privacy and many other activities (the property has 20.000 m2 of land).
There is an open swimming pool on an elevated medow with scenic views as well as a bath house with shower and WC.
Number of beds per room can be ajusted for the guests depending on their needs, (up to 3 beds per room).
Kitchen and Lounge
All guests can share a spacious lounge with TV next to a large eat-in kitchen called Konoba (referring to a traditional cellar space). Konoba has a wood-burning fireplace, suitable for cooking/grill, which complements the outdoor barbeque and stone furnace. Guests are welcome to prepare their own meals. Restaurants are reachable by car in a short time.
Use of the internet is free with Wi-fi connection throughout the house.
There is a general house cleaning every week, including the change of sheets and towels.
Having a car is essential and parking is free in the lot across the road.
Village of Cere has a convenience food store, and the towns of Zminj and Svet Vincenat
(about 6km away) have supplies and restorants.
The neighbors in the hamlet are a friendly family, and may provide some home grown vegetables, food and beverage.
